Hi.

Welcome to the Practical Minimalists.  We host a podcast where we discuss intentional living and what it means to have freedom with less.  We are also a community, so feel free to connect with us on social media! Wishing you peace, wonder, and joy....and the freedom that comes with less.

Relationships

Relationships

This week's podcast topic is on relationships.  So what do relationships have to do with minimalism anyway?  Everything.  This journey has been fascinating to me in realizing how the physical is related to the spiritual and to the relational.  When we have less stuff, or even better, the stuff we actually WANT, it frees up space it our brain to start thinking about bigger stuff.

Who am I?
What do I value (truly)?
How are my relationships affecting my life?
How can I be a better friend?
Do I need to let go of any relationships?
Do I need to set some boundaries in any of my relationships?
Why does this all matter?

See what I mean?  I never knew 2 years ago that by reducing my wardrobe by 75% and by selling my kitchen table that I'd be podcasting about setting boundaries in relationships.  Heck, I didn't even know what boundaries were, let's be real.

So join us on Thursday as we dive deep into the topic of relationships.  What kind of relationships do you want in your life?  Do you need to set some boundaries?  Do you need to say goodbye to a relationship?  How do you deal with someone who is not on board with your values and the way in which you live your life?  These are some of the hard questions we'll be tackling.  We are not experts, but we have been through some stuff.  We struggle.  But by applying some of these concepts to how we relate to people, we have found more joy in our relationships.

We can't wait to share.

Wishing you peace, wonder, and joy....and the freedom that comes with less.

Hugs,
Heather
